Shawnda Joy started her yoga journey in 2016 when her son started ABA Therapy to help him with the challenges of Autism Spectrum Disorder. She watched and joined her sons therapists while they would guide him through yoga poses. She started to practice the poses with him on her own and brought it into their daily routine. Witnessing her son benefit on so many levels with yoga and breath, and observing him as he used yoga techniques to cope in stressful moments, She was inspired to learn to teach yoga so that she could best support him. Through her 200 RYT Training, she not only grew to be a masterful yoga teacher, she found a purpose to share yoga beyond her inner-circle. She has also had continued specialized education for Sound and Energy Healing as well as Kids and Teen Yoga.
My purpose is to help my students find the Freedom of Peace and Inner-Most Joy through Breath, Yoga, and Sound-Healing. I look forward to flowing with you.
